They Also Performed "ABC 123"
Aug 30, 2018 Tune-Yards
Tune-Yards (previously styled as tUnE-yArDs) released a new album, I can feel you creep into my private life, back in January via 4AD. Now they have done a session for Spotify where they cover Eurythmics’ 1983 classic “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” and also perform their own “ABC 123.” Listen to the session below, followed by the video for Eurythmics’ original.
Earlier this month Tune-Yards teamed up with Moors (aka actor Lakeith Stanfield) for a new song, “Mango,” shared via a video for the song (which was one of our Songs of the Week). Stanfield stars in TV’s Atlanta and the recent film Sorry to Bother You, which Tune-Yards did some of the music for and that is thus how the two connected.
