Last year TV on the Radio frontman Tunde Adebimpe announced the creation of a new side-project called Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band. Formed together with Ryan Sawyer (Lone Wolf and Cub), Josh Werner (Lee Scratch Perry, Coco Rosie), and Alex Holden (Big Numbers) the group has announced that it will release their self-titled debut EP this fall on Oct. 1. Down below you listen to the effort’s opening track “The Blast, The Bloom,” with the full tracklist found underneath.
