The iconic early ‘90s David Lynch TV show Twin Peaks is returning to screens in 2017 with a brand new season on Showtime to be co-written and directed by Lynch and to feature much of the original cast. Now the full cast for the upcoming season has been announced. The cast list includes returning favorites, some notable actors joining them, and some musicians who have also surprisingly been added to the cast.

The following musicians will be paying a visit to the town of Twin Peaks: Trent Reznor, Sharon Van Etten, Sky Ferreira, Chromatics’ Ruth Radelet, Eddie Vedder, and the members of Au Revoir Simone (Annie Hart, Erika Forster, and Heather D’Angelo). Notable actors added to the cast include Michael Cera, Naomi Watts, Tim Roth, Ashley Judd, Jim Belushi, Amanda Seyfried, Monica Bellucci, Matthew Lillard, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Laura Dern, Ernie Hudson, Jessica Szohr, Jane Levy, Richard Chamberlain, Robert Knepper, Tom Sizemore, Ethan Suplee, Balthazar Getty, Bailey Chase, David Koechner, and Larry Clarke. Returning cast members include: Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Mädchen Amick, David Duchovny, Michael Horse, Dana Ashbrook, Miguel Ferrer, Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie, Peggy Lipton, Everett McGill, David Lynch, Catherine Coulson, and Julee Cruise. The late Coulson played the Log Lady and reportedly filmed her scenes before she died.
