Twin Shadow
Twin Shadow (aka George Lewis Jr.) released a new album, Caer, back in April 2018 via Warner Bros./Reprise. Now he has shared a brand new song not featured on the album, “Truly.” The single is available to stream now and you can check it out below. Also below is a preview for the song’s video.
Lewis had this to say about the song in a press statement: “In Love, so many of us are nostalgists, longing for the feelings of the first experiences the first touch, the first site of joyful tears. Marked by our history, we sometimes fall into the trap of wanting to recreate these feelings, wanting to be the first ‘everything’ for someone else. ‘Truly’ deals with these missteps and frustrations.”
Back in October Twin Shadow released another new song, “Hollow Days,” that explored his Dominican roots. In December he shared the new track “Broken Horses.” And in February he shared another new song, “Only for the Broken-Hearted.”
When Caer was announced Twin Shadow shared two songs from it, “Saturdays” (which features HAIM) and “Little Woman” (the latter shared via a video). Both made our Songs of the Week list. Then he shared a third song, the John Hughes soundtrack sounding “Brace” (featuring Rainsford), via a video that played more like a lyric video (it was also a Song of the Week), as well as the somewhat funky “When You’re Wrong.” Then there was a 1990s inspired video for “Saturdays.” Caer was Twin Shadow’s fourth full-length album and the follow-up to 2015’s Eclipse (and the free Night Rally mixtape from the same year). It’s the first album since the 2015 tour bus accident that resulted in Lewis having hand surgery.

Great news! I like Twin Shadow, probably one of my favorite artists. His songs help me to stay focused during exams preparation. Another thing, that helps me a lot - a service that helps me to proofread my physics: https://assignment.essayshark.com/physics-help.html
