Ty Segall Releasing Two New Albums This Year
In Addition to White Fence Collaboration
Feb 10, 2012 Ty Segall
Having announced earlier this week that he would be releasing a collaborative album with psychedelic artist White Fence in April, singer/songwriter Ty Segall revealed in a recent interview with Dartbeat that he also has plans to release two of his own albums in the next six months. Segall describes the first as being “a mini LP” comprised of eight songs written and recorded with his touring band, material he says is “a lot harder and louder.” The second effort, to be released by Drag City, will be a more standard full-length, with Segall taking on his usual multi-tasked responsibilities. Says Segall, “I’m really lucky to be getting the best of both worlds right now.” More details as they become available.
