Aug 04, 2011
U2
File it under “we’re all getting older.” Has it really be 20 years since U2’s Achtung Baby? (Answer: Yup!) In honor of the big 2-0, the band is putting out an anniversary addition of the 1991 album.
Due out November 1 (for the U.S.—you lucky folks in the rest of the world can grab it on October 31), the new and improved edition includes previously unreleased demos, remixes and b-sides.
But wait, there’s more. The set also includes a U2 documentary, directed by Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim (Waiting for Superman, An Inconvenient Truth), featuring the band discussing the album in depth.
