It’s been a big year for live music. (Then again, isn’t it always?) Across Europe and the U.S., Under the Radar’s photography staff has been busy hitting up festivals, large concert venues, and sweaty dive bars. From St. Vincent, to Future Islands, to a bevy of Norwegian bands that you probably haven’t heard of (but should probably Google), the fruits of their collective labors are stunning.
In honor of the end of the year, we asked Robert Redfield, Robert Altman, Laura Studarus, Thor Møller, and Johannes Andersen to submit their favorite shots of 2014. The results are stunning. Presented without rank or commentary, here are Under the Radar’s best live photos of 2014.
