Sep 15, 2009 Vampire Weekend
The Polo-shirt-wearing blonde above is the cover for Vampire Weekend‘s sophomore LP, Contra. The follow-up to the group’s 2008 self-titled debut (which we loved) has a viral website http://www.ithinkuracontra.com, and now some release details.
Vampire Weekend‘s new full-length will likely bring you more white boy Afro-pop on January 121th. XL is releasing again.
We’re not quite sure what the “Contra” refers to just yet but the other nine tracks are below. The sunny group also will tour two clubs in Canada in October. (via Pitchfork)
