Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio station already has shows hosted by St. Vincent, Run the Jewels, Drake, Pharrell, Disclosure, Dr. Dre, Josh Homme, and others. Now Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig is joining the party and getting his very own show, the intriguingly titled Time Crisis with Ezra Koenig. It premieres this Sunday at 3 PM. No word if there’s a special theme/concept to the show (for St. Vincent’s show, for example, she puts together a mixtape each week for a different listener), but with a title like Time Crisis it seems likely they’ll be more to it than Koenig just playing his favorite songs. Maybe it’ll have a sci-fi theme? Although a tweet from Koenig below suggests that Mark Ronson, Rashida Jones, and others might be guests on his first episode.
