Today the ’90s indie-pop Velocity Girl have shared a previously unreleased version of 1993 album title track “Copacetic (Peel Session Version).” It is taken from a reissue of Copacetic, UltraCopacetic (Copacetic Remixed and Expanded), which will be available via Sub Pop on August 16. Listen to the track below and also find the reissue’s tracklist and cover art.

The track was recorded during a session for legendary BBC radio DJ John Peel. The reissue features an all new mix of Copacetic approved by the band.

Velocity Girl formed in 1989 and is comprised of guitarist Archie Moore (Black Tambourine), guitarist Brian Nelson (Black Tamboruine), drummer Jim Spellman (Starry Eyes, Foxhall Stacks, High Back Chairs, Julie Ocean, Piper Club), bassist Kelly Riles (Starry Eyes), and singer Sarah Shannon (Starry Eyes, The Not Its).
