Washed Out Announces New Album “Paracosm”

On August 13, Washed Out will release Paracosm, the follow up to 2011’s Within and Without. The album will be released via Sub Pop and was produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Gnarls Barkley). According to the press release, bandleader Ernest Greene will play over 50 different instruments. (In other words, goodbye chillwave.) Check out the back-to-nature album trailer below.
