The Kills (Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince) recently released a new album, Ash & Ice, via Domino. The album artwork features 15 different symbols, one for each of the song’s 13 songs plus two that appear on the cover. Earlier this year they put the call out for 15 fans who were willing to have each of the symbols tattooed to their bodies. “We will be there. We will film it. We will photograph it. We will pay for it,” the band promised. Well now it has happened in early June at LA’s Shamrock Social Club Inc. and there’s video to prove it.
