Toronto-based indie-pop four-piece Alvvays released a new album, Antisocialites, last Friday via Polyvinyl. Now the band has shared a video for “Dreams Tonite.” Matt Johnson directed the video, which expertly makes it seem like the band are performing at the 1967 Montreal Expo (aka Expo 67) by cutting together newly shot images of the band performing with archival footage from 1967. It all works wonderfully and fits the vibe of the band well. Watch it below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.

Previously the band shared its first single, album opener “In Undertow,” as well as a trippy lo-fi video for the song, plus the songs “Dreams Tonite,” “Plimsoll Punks,” and “Lollipop (Ode to Jim).”

Antisocialites is the follow-up to their well-received 2014-released self-titled debut album. “This record is a fantasy breakup arc and my life nearly imitated art,” said Rankin in a previous press release.
