Bat For Lashes
This fall Academy Award-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan will star in a new motion picture titled, How I Live Now. Directed by Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland), Ronan plays Daisy, an American teenager sent to stay with relatives in the English countryside. Initially withdrawn, Daisy soon falls in love with her cousin Edmund. Their young romance is unfortunately interrupted by the sudden outbreak of a 21st century World War. Forced to fend for themselves alongside Eddie’s young siblings, Daisy is eventually separated from the group and forced on a dangerous journey to be reunited with the boy she loves. Based on the book by Meg Rosoff, the upcoming film will feature a brand new song by Bat for Lashes’ Natasha Khan and Jon Hopkins as part of its soundtrack. Yesterday, a cinematic music video for the song, titled “Garden’s Heart,” premiered online. Also starring Ronan, the visual is available to watch below. How I Live Now arrives in theaters Nov. 8.
