Already mixing things up plenty as the program’s new host, last night James Corden broadcast The Late Late Show from the home of a complete stranger. The family that actually agreed to Corden’s surprise invasion were treated not only to a couch conversation with actor Jeff Goldblum, but a performance of “Country Down” by Beck, taken off the artist’s Grammy-winning album Morning Phase. Leaving the home’s owner Tommy completely dumbstruck by his arrival, Beck even took part in an amusing game of hide-and-seek.
