Celebrating the release of Leonard Cohen‘s latest album Old Ideas the big-wigs of Columbia thought it would a great idea to host a video series called “Old Ideas with New Friends,” where contemporary artists would show up and cover their favorite Cohen tracks. Having already featured the likes of Cults and Cold War Kids, Atlas Sound/Deerhunter mastermind Bradford Cox stopped by to play an acoustic rendition of “Seems So Long Ago, Nancy,” calling it “the most haunting song I’d ever heard.” Check it out over at Pitchfork by clicking here.
