Los Angeles sister trio HAIM are releasing a new album, Something to Tell You, on July 7 via Columbia. Now Funny or Die have shared an amusing skit featuring the three Haim sisters in which Oscar winning actress Brie Larson (Room, Kong: Skull Island) plays their fourth sister, Frime Haim, who begs to join the band, despite constantly pronouncing their shared last name wrong and having stolen their grandmother’s identity. Carnie Wilson shows up at the end. Watch it below.
Previously HAIM shared a live in-the-studio Paul Thomas Anderson-directed video for a sparse and crisp brand new song, “Right Now,” the first full on single from the album, “Want You Back,” and the final studio version of “Right Now.” Then they were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live where they performed “Want You Back” and the new song “Little of Your Love,” and then shared the album version of “Little of Your Love,” a video for “Want You Back,” and a trailer for a behind-the-scenes documentary on the album. Ariel Rechtshaid produced Something to Tell You, which also features production by Rostam Batamanglij (ex-Vampire Weekend).
