Broken Social Scene premiered a new song, “Halfway Home,” yesterday and last night the band stopping by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform the new single. They were joined by longtime Broken Social Scene collaborators/members, Metric’s Emily Haines and James Shaw and Stars’ Amy Milan and Evan Cranley. At the end Kevin Drew said “friendship ladies and gentlemen, friendship.” Watch the performance below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates. The band have been working on the follow-up to 2010’s Forgiveness Rock Record, which is done and due out later this year (and will also feature Feist).
