Bruce Springsteen
After making his keynote speech yesterday at SXSW Bruce Springsteen took to the stage later that night with the E Street Band to perform a special concert. Appearing at the Moody Theater before 3,000 lucky, lottery-winning fans, The Boss closed his two-and-a-half hour set with guest-laden cover of Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Our Land.” Those helping in the sing-a-long included Tom Morello, Arcade Fire’s Régine Chassagne, Win and Will Butler, The Animals’ Eric Burdon, Alejandro Escovedo, Jimmy Cliff, Garland Jeffreys, Joe Ely, and members of the The Low Anthem. Watch the footage from the rendition below courtesy of Consequence of Sound.
