Watch Bruce Springsteen Cover Prince’s “Purple Rain” in Brooklyn
R.I.P. Prince

Bruce Springsteen
Prince passed away at his home last Thursday and the Prince tributes and covers have been fittingly constant ever since. On Saturday night Bruce Springsteen opened his show at Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center with a cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain,” the title track to his 1984 album (also the soundtrack to the film of the same name). Springsteen usually opens his shows with “Meet Me in the City.” He was fittingly bathed in purple light and you can watch video of his tribute to Prince below.
