Last night, ending the first American leg of his worldwide tour, Bruce Springsteen encored an epic, three-hour, 26-song performance at the Prudential Center in Newark by paying tribute to the recently passed Levon Helm, playing The Band’s most recognizable song “The Weight” for the sold-out crowd. Prompted after seeing a fan’s sign, the completely unrehearsed cover can be seen in its entirety below.
