Last night American Express premiered a brand new ad featuring former Sleater-Kinney member and Wild Flag guitarist Carrie Brownstein. Showing off the influence her partnership with SNL alum Fred Armisen and their sketch comedy show Portlandia has had on her, Brownstein assumes the identity of multiple oddball characters, including a sitar instructor and a record store patron with a penchance for eating vinyl.
