Watch: Cate Le Bon - “Wonderful” Video
Crab Day Due Out April 15 via Drag City

Cate Le Bon
Welsh singer/songwriter/guitarist Cate Le Bon is releasing new album, Crab Day, on Drag City on April 15. Now Le Bon has shared a video for “Wonderful.” Casey Raymond directed the clip, which features a very pale looking Le Bon running and dancing in place on a desolate street in Berlin. Watch it below, followed by her U.S. tour dates.
Previously Le Bon had shared a funny album trailer. Le Bon cryptically commented on the album in an earlier press release: “Crab Day was lovingly formed in the mouth of the Pacific Ocean, as it quietly mocked us with its magnitude. It’s the sound of the ‘accidentally on purpose’ coming together of the right people at precisely the right time in an environment that furnished and fueled the abandonment we felt effortlessly. It’s a coalition of inescapable feelings and fabricated nonsense, each propping the other up. Crab Day is an old holiday. Crab Day is a new holiday. Crab Day isn’t a holiday at all.”
Last year Le Bon teamed up with Tim Presley of White Fence as DRINKS, who released their debut album, Hermits On Holiday, via Birth Records and Heavenly Recordings. Be sure to read our 2015 interview with Le Bon and Presley about Hermits On Holiday.
