CHVRCHES
Scottish electronic pop trio CHVRCHES previously announced their much-anticipated second album, Every Open Eye. They have already sharbum’s first single, “Leave a Trace,” but now the song has a full on video. The moody clip solely features front-woman Lauren Mayberry singing the song, while walking through fog, into a mirror, while lying in water, and in both black & white and color. Warren and Nick directed the video.
Every Open Eye was self-produced by the band in their Glasgow studio and is due out September 25 via Glassnote. The band has also previously shared a lyric video for “Never Ending Circle.” Check out the “Leave a Trace” video below, followed by the band’s tour dates, including two new dates. And don’t forget that CHVRCHES are on the cover of our brand new print issue. There’s an in-depth 8-page 5,600-word feature on the band in the issue.
