Watch: Courtney Barnett on “Ellen”
Performs "Depreston"
Mar 19, 2015
Courtney Barnett
Currently attending SXSW, earlier this week Australian singer/songwriter Courtney Barnett appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show to play her song “Depreston” from her upcoming record, Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit.
“Depreston” is a chilled-out alt-rock song about young lovers moving into a California bungalow once owned by an elderly couple. The newest single off of Barnett’s forthcoming album beautifully showcases her melancholy lyrics and delightfully reverberating Telecaster. Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit will be available March 24 via Mom + Pop Records.
