Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit Available Now

Courtney Barnett
Australian singer/songwriter Courtney Barnett has just premiered a haunting music video for her song “Kim’s Caravan,” from her new album Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit. The video, as well as the song, is drenched in pessimism and worry, with the cinematography consisting largely of black, gray, and dark blue tones. In a press release, Barnett says the song is “an apocalyptic tale of our world painted black with oil and soot, painted red with blood and greed.”
In addition to the video Barnett has announced that she will release “Kim’s Caravan” as a 12-inch single on Record Store Day, with the B-Side featuring her cover of John Cale’s “Close Watch.”
