Watch: Courtney Barnett Gets Animated in “Dead Fox” Video
Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit Out Now
May 11, 2015
Courtney Barnett
Australian singer/songwriter/guitarist Courtney Barnett has released an animated video for “Dead Fox.” Rory Kerr and Paul Ruttledg directed and animated the video, which humorously plays off the song’s lyrics. The clip takes place on a highway crowded with cars and trucks driven by various animals, including a smoking truck driving fox. It’s a world where humans are the roadkill. An animated Barnett shows up on the side of the road and later in the back of a car.
“Dead Fox” can be found on Barnett’s debut full-length album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, which is out now. Check out the video below and pick up Under the Radar’s current print issue to read our “The End” interview with Barnett on death and endings.
