Watch Courtney Barnett Perform “Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go to the Party” on “Colbert”
Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit Out Now via Mom + Pop
Feb 18, 2016 Stephen Colbert
Australian singer/songwriter/guitarist Courtney Barnett may have been robbed at the Grammys on Monday, losing the Best New Artist award to mainstream pop star Meghan Trainor, but last night she made a triumphant return to U.S. late night TV, performing “Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go to the Party” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Watch the performance below.
The song is featured on Barnett’s debut full-length album, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, which is out now via Mom + Pop. The album landed at #6 on Under the Radar‘s Top 100 Albums of 2015 list. Also make sure to pick up Under the Radar‘s Best of 2015 issue (still on newsstands now) to read a joint interview between Barnett and Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy.
