Deerhunter
Last night Deerhunter visited Late Night with Jimmy Fallon where they premeired the title track off their anticipated new album Monomania. Crashing through the incredibly loud and abrasive song, frontman Bradford Cox presented his new, strange new persona named Connie Lungpin, dressing himself in a black wig and bandaged fingers. What really made the performance stand out was that in its closing moments Cox simply abandoned the stage, walking right out of the studio and heading right for the elevator. Click below to watch and scroll down a bit farther to listen to the studio version of the track. Monomania comes out May 7 on 4AD.
