Watch: Dirty Projectors Share Video for Brand New Song - “Little Bubble”
The Second Song from the Band's Forthcoming New Album
Jan 05, 2017
Dirty Projectors
It’s been five years since Dirty Projectors’ last album, 2012’s Swing Lo Magellan, but last fall we were treated a video for a brand new Dirty Projectors song, “Keep Your Name,” and now here’s a video for another brand new Dirty Projectors song, “Little Bubble,” which a press release promises is from their upcoming yet-to-be-announced album. The soulful cut is backed by a video featuring frontman Dave Longstreth singing the song in various locales, including a greenhouse. Adam Newport-Berra directed the clip, which you can watch below.
A press release describes the song as such: “Social bubbles; cultural and technological bubbles; the bubbles that we create and inhabit in our most intimate relationships: ‘Little Bubble’ is a very timely exploration of the double-edged sword of comfort and insularity, and the trade-offs we make choosing them.”
