We Can’t Believe It

EELS
Some phrases you never think you’ll type. Like “EELS covers Journey.” But life is long and weird, and sometimes the unimaginable happens. Last night at The Concert Hall in Amsterdam, EELS covered Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” The weird, yet strangely beautiful moment was inspired by Steve Perry’s rendition of EELS tune, “It’s a Motherfucker.” Strangely, the whole thing works quite swimmingly. Check out the performance below. EELS new album, The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett is out now on E Works.
