EELS
Eels frontman Mark Oliver Everett has apparently had a vision of his future, and it includes a lot of Grammy wins. Having a little fun with his fans, Everett has posted a few mock acceptance speeches in lieu of the award ceremony’s upcoming nominees announcement. With his trophy in hand, Everett takes a few moments to take in wins including Best Female Slow Jam, Best International Folk Metal Ballad, and most importantly Lifetime Achievement in Most Commercial Flops. His reasons for not being at the ceremony itself are quite complicated.
Click below to watch Everett’s incredibly dry sense of humor, and in case you missed it the recently debuted music video for “Peach Blossom,” the first single on the Eels’ upcoming album Wonderful, Glorious.
