Given that it was a visit on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon that inspired their collaboration in the first place, last night on the show Elvis Costello and The Roots performed the track “Walk Us Uptown” from their newly released joint album Wise Up Ghost. Before the performance Costello sat down with Fallon himself to talk about how the team-up came about and how he would regularly sneak into the The Roots’ dressing room to jam and write material.
