Watch Father John Misty Perform “Holy Shit” on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”
On the Cover of Under the Radar's Best of 2015 Issue

Father John Misty
Father John Misty (real name Josh Tillman) launched his excellent February 2015-released sophomore album, I Love You, Honeybear, by performing “Bored in the USA” in November 2014 on The Late Show with David Letterman. Now things have come full circle, as Tillman basks in the glow of appearing on many Best of 2015 lists (including being Under the Radar’s #1 album of 2015) he has returned to The Late Show for a victory performance of “Holy Shit,” except that this time it’s hosted by Stephen Colbert. And what a performance! As on I Love You, Honeybear, the song starts out more subdued, before exploding with drums and distortion. Colbert is unable to say the name of the song on air. Check it out below, followed by his upcoming tour dates.
Also, don’t forget that Father John Misty is on the cover of our Best of 2015 print issue and all the info on that is here. Also read our earlier 2015 print article on Father John Misty and our earlier 2015 bonus Q&A with Tillman (also read our 2012 interview with him).
