Fever Ray (aka Karin Dreijer, formerly one half of the Swedish duo The Knife) released a new album, Plunge, digitally a week and a half ago after only announcing it the day before its release (with a physical release planned for February 23, 2018 via Mute). Now she has shared a video for “Mustn’t Hurry.” It mainly features Dreijer in strange white makeup examining a metal speculum medical tool. Watch it below.
The album is Fever Ray’s first since 2009’s self-titled debut album and includes “To the Moon and Back,” a new song she shared prior to the album announcement via a strange video. Dreijer also shared a long statement kind of about the album (but more about love and relationships), which you can read here.
Plunge was mainly recorded in Karin Dreijer’s Stockholm studio. Dreijer collaborated with various producers on the album, including Paula Temple, Deena Abdelwahed, NÍDIA, Tami T, Peder Mannerfelt, and Johannes Berglund.
