Tom Petty, the singer/songwriter/guitarist who found success in the 1970s and 1980s with his band as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, died Monday night after suffering cardiac arrest Sunday night in his home in Malibu, Los Angeles. He was 66. At Fleet Foxes’ show at the Chicago Theatre last night, frontman Robin Pecknold did a solo cover of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” from the band’s 1985 album Southern Accents.
