Over the weekend breakthrough R&B artist Frank Ocean had a significant arrival moment when he served as the musical guest on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. The following morning Ocean kept the balling rolling by debuting a surreal music video for his channelORANGE cut “Pyramids.” Trimmed down from its original nine-minute length, the song is used as a strange pairing to Ocean’s mind-altered adventures, all of which include guns, a strip club moving in slow motion, and an early morning motorcycle ride through the desert. Near the end even John Mayer shows up like The Simpsons’ “space coyote” to help him reach some kind of unexplainable epiphany. Click below to watch the video, as well as Ocean’s guest spot on SNL.
