2012 will undoubtedly go down as the year that Frank Ocean made his mark on the music community. Last Thursday Spotify held a press conference at New York City’s Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet to discuss the success of the company and outline its plans for 2013. During the night Ocean performed a small set, which included an all-too brief cover of Radiohead’s iconic “Fake Plastic Trees.” Despite the crowd chatter and less-than-stellar sound quality the multple Grammy-nominated artist worked his magic on the track.
