Sometimes there are moments when the pain you feel is just too overwhelming. In the music video for “State Hospital,” a new track to be featured on Frightened Rabbit’s forthcoming new EP of the same name, a woman endures a series of traumatic memories as she contemplates the idea of ending her own life. Directed by Hand Held Cine Club, the clip’s tension is deftly handled, making for an emotionally stirring use of the band’s closing refrain “All is not lost.” Click below to watch. State Hospital EP is out Sept. 25 via Canvasback/Atlantic.
