Watch HAIM Surprise and Praise Their Former High School History Teacher in New Video

HAIM are featured in a new video put together by the California State Lottery to help highlight that some of the funds go to education. In the video Danielle, Este, and Alana Haim return to their old high school, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, to surprise their former history teacher, Mr. Freedman, who made a big impact on them. It shows Mr. Freedman going about his day and teaching a class when the famous sisters show up. Freedman seems like a pretty cool guy, one who doesn’t understand why some of his fellow teachers retire early to go on cruises when they could be impacting new generations of students. Watch it below.
The band issued a statement on the video: “Growing up in LA, my sisters and I were all lucky enough to go to the same public schools and meet some pretty inspiring teachers. In high school, we all had the same history teacher, Mr. Freedman. His class was our safe zone to speak freely, voice our opinions, and share our dreams. He is someone that all three of us look back on fondly and still talk about today. We teamed up with California Lottery for their Back To The Start series to surprise and thank him for all he did for us.

This video is really inspiring one which, made me watch four times.
