Hundred Waters are releasing a new album, Communicating, on September 14 via OWSLA. Previously they shared “Blanket Me.” Now they have shared another song from the album, “Fingers,” via an unsettling video. Well, it’s unsettling if you don’t like bugs, as the video consists of vocalist Nicole Miglis singing the song in a nude body suit on a wooden floor, while bugs creep and crawl all over her, including her face. Allie Avital directed the video, which a press release says features 12,000 live insects (yeah, no thanks). Miglis must really like bugs, if not, that must of have been a very interesting music video pitch meeting. Watch it below. Hundred Waters have also revealed the album’s cover art and tracklist, both which are also below.

The trio (vocalist Nicole Miglis, producer Trayer Tryon, and drummer Zach Tetreault), who formed in Gainesville, Florida in 2011, released their sophomore album, The Moon Rang Like a Bell, in 2014. Back in May they released a new song, “Particle,” and a new EP, Currency. “Particle” is also included on the new album, as its opening track. A previous press release said Communicating “raises questions of romantic and non-romantic love, self-realization, growing apart, and finding understanding.”

Miglis had this to say about the album in the previous press release: “From a broad lens, the album is a breakup. It starts with a need for independence and it ends with an ‘all better,’ like we did it: we learned, we loved, we separated, and now it’s time for the next chapter.”
