At The Walking Dead’s Comic-Con panel today the first trailer for season 6 was shown and now AMC has posted it online. The intense trailer seems to set up a power struggle between Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and returning character Morgan Jones (Lennie James), as our heroes try to make it work in the small safe zone they’ve found in Alexandria, Virginia. The season premiere will air on AMC on October 11. It will be an extended 90-minute episode that will feature a series record number of walkers/zombies, 650 of them!

Also, a Talking Dead Season 6 Preview Special will air on Sunday August 23 at 8 PM in which host Chris Hardwick will give fans an advance look at the season, including interviews with the cast and producers. And of course The Walking Dead companion series, Fear the Walking Dead, is set to air on AMC this August.
