Watch Jared Leto’s Joker in Rick Ross and Skrillex’s “Purple Lamborghini” Video from “Suicide Squad”
Suicide Squad: The Album Due Out Today
Aug 05, 2016 DC Comics
Suicide Squad is the next DC Comics film to hit the big screen (Warner Bros. have years of DC films planned) and is due out today. The soundtrack features a mishmash of artists and collaborations and is also due out today. Warner Bros. and DC have been pulling out all the stops in promoting the movie and soundtrack and now, on release day, they’ve shared a video for “Purple Lamborghini,” a collaboration between Rick Ross and Skrillex. The song references the film and Gotham City crime and the video features Jared Leto as The Joker, hanging out in a club and riding a boat with Ross and Skrillex. It seems as though Ross and Skrillex are a part of The Joker’s gang. Colin Tilley directed the clip, which you can watch below.
Earlier this week we shared “Medieval Warfare,” a new song from Grimes also written for the Suicide Squad soundtrack. March’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice raked in the cash, but got a very split response from fans and critics. Hopefully Suicide Squad, which features a team of super villains brought together by the government to combat a greater evil, will get a better reception from fans, although the professional reviews haven’t been much better.
David Ayer, whose last film was the Brad Pitt WWII tank drama Fury, is the director. Suicide Squad stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Adam Beach as Slipknot, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. Ben Affleck’s Batman has a cameo as well. Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Raymond Olubowale, Alex Meraz, Jim Parrack, and Common are also featured.

Oh, how glad I am that Phoenix plays the leading role! In fact, the image of the joker is very similar to the real world. He was only good to everyone, and they wiped his feet about him. Well, the trailer is great. Joaquin Phoenix is great. I watch a lot of films and sometimes I don’t have time to do my homework, but there is site, which helps to study well. I hope the script will not let you down))) and it is better for them not to release more trailers, and then, as usual, the whole story will be merged. The soundtrack also solves a lot. The atmosphere is directly felt dramatic. It will be an unrealistic emotional and powerful film!
