Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker has teamed up with Red Bull Paris for the “20 Golden Greats” project. It’s an exhibition at their art space in Paris (at 12 Mail, 75002 Paris, France) that is currently running until August 28. Cocker designed imaginary Gold Records which include fictional songs on some of the real labels he’s admired over the years and would’ve liked to have released music on (such as Island Records in the ‘70s, although Pulp’s biggest albums were released on Island in the ‘90s). Now Red Bull has released a 5-minute behind-the-scenes documentary on the project, which you can watch below.

The documentary features an interview with Cocker, in which he explains his inspiration behind the project and how he was so embarrassed by the Gold Records Pulp received that he gave them to his mum. You can also see clips of him in the Bed Bull recording studios making the music that would end up sound-tracking the exhibition. That composition has been cut to a vinyl LP that people who attend the exhibition can pick up for free. But you can also stream the music below.

More info on the “20 Golden Greats” exhibition can be found here. Watch the video and stream the soundtrack below.
