Jenny Lewis
Jenny Lewis is releasing a new album, On the Line, on March 22 via Warner Bros. Previously she shared its first single, “Red Bull & Hennessy,” which was one of our Songs of the Week. Now she has stopped by the Chris Thile-hosted public radio show Live From Here to perform the song. Her backing band consisted of Dylan Day (on guitar), Sara Watkins, Mike Elizondo, Jeff Babko, Chris Eldridge, Trevor Lawrence Jr., and Gabe Witcher. Watch the performance below, followed by her upcoming tour dates.
On the Line is Lewis’ first solo album in five years, since 2014’s The Voyager. Lewis recorded On the Line at Capitol Records’ Studio B with an impressive backing band featuring Beck, Benmont Tench, Don Was, Jim Keltner, Ringo Starr, and Ryan Adams.
