Soon to open for Sigur Rós for a number of west coast dates this summer avant-garde singer/songwriter Julia Holter has debuted wanderlusting music video for her Ekstasis cut “Our Sorrows.” Capturing Holter unspooling a lot of string around her hometown of L.A., director Naomi Yang says of the collaboration that ”Julia and I developed the arc of the video as we worked, allowing what we filmed to determine where we would go next. We chose locations that in some way had a resonance to Julia’s actual daily life in LA, though I had an idea from the start that she should be making her way from an urban environment to a more pastoral one.” Click below to watch.
