LA Priest, the new solo project of former Late of the Pier frontman Sam Dust, released his debut album Inji earlier this week via Domino. In honor of that he’s shared a video for one of the more electronic/dancier tracks on the record, “Learning to Love.” The frantic clip starts with Dust in the countryside at dusk with a white dog and a keyboard. Then we see Dust in a white studio, clad in a white unbuttoned shirt and gold jewelry, with the dog by his side. The video was directed by Isaac Eastgate and continues with lots of quick cuts. The whole thing seems to be quite tongue in cheek and for some reason slightly reminded me of the great BBC comedy show Look Around You, which was a spoof of British educational videos, even though this video is really nothing like that.
