Last night Lana Del Rey, whose debut full-length Born to Die is slated for release on Jan. 30, made her American television debut over the weekend as the musical guest for “Saturday Night Live.” Performing singles “Video Games” and “Blues Jeans,” two of the artist’s more languid tracks, Del Rey’s stage presence may need a little bit of rethinking, as she pretty much swayed about looking awkward under the spotlight, all while trying to overcome the studio’s historically bad sound with little result. Consider this just more fuel to the critical fire. Check out the clips below.
