Loney Dear‘s Emil Svanängen has released an interesting, albeit mysterious video for his Music Hall track “Loney Blues.” Directed by Ewan Macleod, the clip depicts a skateboarding vagrant cruising around town, placing objects in seemingly random places, and occasionally feeding fish to stray cats. While there’s certainly a level of creepiness by fitting the protagonist with a mask resembling the same worn by Michael Myers in Halloween, the tune helps turn it into something more sad than fearful. In addition to the video, Loney Dear has announced a series of North American shows alongside Kevin Barnes and of Montreal. You can check out both the video and the show tour schedule below.
