M.I.A. released her long teased new album, A.I.M., which is of course M.I.A. backwards, last September via Interscope. Now she has shared a video for a brand new song, “P.O.W.A.” Yesterday she released the lyrics to the song. It references Barack Obama, Osama Bin Laden, Monsanto, the FBI, Rhianna, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, and more. M.I.A. self-directed the video. She is also curating this year’s Meltdown festival in London in June (the line-up has yet to be announced). Watch the video below, followed by the song’s lyrics.
